This is an exciting opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our busy Health and Wellbeing team, working alongside our School Nurses.
The role would suit someone who has a genuine desire to play an active part in the health and wellbeing of our students. This job aims to enhance the provision for students (aged 2-18) over the week.
The purpose of the role is to:
* support and assist the School Nurses to provide a clinically effective, high-quality service of nursing care to students (day and boarding) and first aid care to all members of the school community.
* assist the School Nurses with administrative duties.
* provide first aid care and treatment to pupils when required.
* cover the Health Centre and be the first port of call for first aid cover when the Nurse is unavailable.
Hours of work are 8am to 4pm, usually Monday to Friday during term time only (34 weeks per year). The need for some flexibility is required to meet the needs of the College.
