The opportunity has arisen to join Alternative Heat’s Service and Maintenance Administration Team. We are a leading provider of biomass boiler systems and have a strong service and maintenance team comprised of field based service and maintenance engineers and our office based team covering our biomass operation and maintenance contracts throughout the UK. We have a strong and long established client base consisting of Council Bodies, Housing Associations, Health Care Trusts and other commercial clientele. We have a vacancy within our head office team for an Accounts Administrator to assist with the processes involved in delivering our clients contracts.
This role will be based in our fabulous new Head Quarters in Banbridge. This post is a permanent contract and is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate that wants to gain experience with a progressive and dynamic company to further their career.
The Service and Maintenance Accounts Administrator will assist with the daily operational requirements of the existing head office team. The role will consist of working with the Service & Maintenance manager to deliver the administrative requirements of a number of currently held client contracts. This will involve collation of engineers completed documentation and processing through to next stage whether that be quotation of further works or processing through to invoice. The applicant will be required to check engineers submissions, file purchase orders and ensure they are quoted on invoices. Familiarise themselves with the workings of a number of different contracts and their individual rates and requirements. There will be aspects of reporting and client liaison. The applicant must be comfortable working in a busy, vibrant and fast moving office atmosphere.

Responsible to | Service & Maintenance Manager
Key Responsibilities
* Review Engineers Job Cards to identify remedial works.
* Generate Quotations from completed Job cards and issue to clients.
* Convert approved Quotations to approved Sales Orders and issue to engineers.
* Convert completed Sales Orders to Invoices and issue to clients.
* Work with S&M manager to schedule planned remedial and reactive works.
* Generate weekly & monthly accounts based reports.
* General administrative duties.
* Any other duties deemed necessary by Management.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential Criteria
* Previous experience in a relevant job role
* Computer literate and proficient in the use of Excel
* Good customer relations skills and telephone manner
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office & Outlook
* Logical and sensible approach to daily tasks
* Ability to work to deadlines and cope with a varied portfolio of work
* Good interpersonal skills
* The ability to process a large volume of information timely and accurately
Desirable Criteria
* Flexible and practical approach to daily tasks
* Experience in Power Bi Software
* Ability to cope with the reactive nature of the role
