An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing team. We are looking to recruit a senior night care assistant to join our family-owned care home. Ribble Valley Care Home, based in Sawley, near Clitheroe, is currently undergoing major renovation works, with the home set to expand in capacity in Summer 2023. In anticipation, we aim to grow our team and are looking for passionate and caring Senior Care Assistants to join us now to ensure we are ready for the opening. Applicants must have a genuine interest in working within a caring environment, and preferably experience working as a Senior Carer, with the ability to communicate effectively and manage the running of the shift.
Your role will include:
1. Assisting in the day-to-day care of those living at the home.
2. Supporting professionals and families when visiting or contacting the home.
3. Leading, supervising, and supporting Care Assistants in their role.
4. Dispensing prescribed medication to Residents in accordance with individual care plans and ensuring that actions are correctly recorded.
5. Ensuring that correct and proper documentation and records are maintained.
6. Ensuring that everyone living in the home enjoys their day by supporting a wide range of activities.

Additional Experience desirable for this role:
* Previous experience working in a Care Home environment.
* Experience of working as a Senior Care Assistant.
* Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
