HR Advisor/Junior HR Business Partner, Fenchurch Street, London£50,000-£55,000Office based Permanent You must have at least 4 years previous HR experience and live within 1 hour commute of London to be considered for this role. HR Recruit are currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist/HR Advisor/HR Business Partner for our client in the professional services sector. Reporting directly into the HR Manager, the successful candidate will be part of the HR team and deal with all day to day HR operational matters in relation to their client/department groups. The candidate will be required to work with management to drive the Company towards meeting its business objectives. Role Responsibilities Providing best practice advice and guidance on company policies, terms and conditions of employment and legislation. Dealing with various HR queries/matters, throughout the business, reliably and in accordance with legal requirements Assisting with payroll matters where required All aspects of recruitment All aspects of training and development, including induction Ensuring probationary reviews and appraisals are carried out effectively. Assisting with employee benefits administration Report on key HR metrics. Review and update policies and procedures. Assist in the day to day running of a busy HR function. Person Specification Strong prior experience in a generalist HR role (at least 4 years) Experience of managing formal ER casework Proven ability to hit the ground running and pick up mid-process activities, identify and implement improvements as agreed by the Company Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage a large workload under pressure. Maintain a good working knowledge of employment law and keeping up to date with changes Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to influence with confidence at a senior level. High attention to detail, proactive, able to coach and develop others through advice. Excellent communications skills to work effectively with people at all levels Excellent analytical skills and ability to use own initiative but know when to seek guidance Committed team player and self -motivated The holidays are 22 plus bank holidays.
