Job summary The recent award of NIHR funding to establish a joint NIHR Clinical Research Facility with the University of Surrey has created an exciting, new opportunity for a band 6 research practitioner. The post holder will be in contact with a broad professional group, as well as members of the public and research sponsors, therefore excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are paramount. This opportunity will see you using your in-depth knowledge in research, trial protocols and research methodologies alongside your expert clinical skills. Main duties of the job In this role, you will have the opportunity to undertake clinical trials, with a specific focus on early phase research which could affect patient outcomes. You will be working within our NIHR Royal Surrey Clinical Research Facility and across the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. You will be involved in the planning, set-up and delivery of research, providing excellent care for patients as well as collecting and reporting on data to the highest standards as expected for clinical research.
