Work within a rota covering 24/7, 52-week nursing care to the children & young people accessing Chailey Clinical Services. Together with the multidisciplinary team (MDT), ensure the consistent delivery of safe, high quality nursing care. Work across services at CCS, gaining additional nursing knowledge and experience, participating in writing and implementing clinical policies and standards in accordance with local and national standards and clinical policies. Assess and interpret altered health care needs of the children & young people and in consultation with the MDT, evaluating the effectiveness of care and make adjustments, where appropriate Develop, implement, and evaluate guidelines/teaching tools for children/ young people/families/healthcare professionals and non-registered professionals. Report any incidents, child and adult safeguarding concerns through the appropriate routes, in accordance with SCFT guidance.
