Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
A prestigious Civil Engineering Contractor with a £134million turnover seeks an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead their Carbon Capture project in Liverpool. Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity to join a leading company with over 30 years of experience in large Infrastructure projects. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing commercial aspects of the project, including preparing internal reports, valuations, and cost reports. Your expertise in NEC option A and CEMAR software will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of internal commercial reporting and other reports as required
* Valuations and applications for payment with supporting documentation
* Cost Reports to the Client with contractually compliant documentation
* Subcontract and material procurement schedules management
* Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts
* Final account agreement
* Contract administration, change management, and associated register maintenance
* Commercial risk identification, value engineering, and change management
Requirements:
* Relevant industry qualification (e.g., RICS or CIOB)
* General civil engineering experience
* Commercial acumen with knowledge of standard forms of contract and measurement methods
* NEC 3 Option A Contract experience
* CEMAR software proficiency
* Strong Microsoft Office skills
* Effective communication and negotiation skills
Remuneration:
* Salary: £65,000 - £90,000 (negotiable for highly qualified candidates)
* Holiday entitlement: 23 days plus 8 bank holidays
