The team is responsible for the creation and deployment of all brand and messaging to the market and to our existing customer base. Role Overview: Head of Marketing Operations This is a pivotal role within the Simplybiz marketing team, responsible for delivering a data-driven, integrated communications strategy that supports the company’s core objectives. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you will lead the operational delivery of marketing campaigns, manage key systems and data, and drive excellence in our communications. You will play a strategic and hands-on role, working collaboratively across the business while managing and developing a team of digital marketing executives. Key areas of responsibility Strategic Leadership Develop and execute a data-led communications strategy for engaging existing customers and prospects. Set clear objectives and KPIs for all campaigns, ensuring measurable results. Continuously optimize communication channels using insights and analytics to enhance engagement and outcomes. Team Management Lead and inspire a team of marketing executives, fostering a high-performance culture. Provide day-to-day direction, mentoring, and professional development opportunities. Campaign Management Oversee the creation and implementation of an integrated schedule of communications for key brands, including Simplybiz, Compliance First, and Simplybiz Mortgages. Ensure all campaigns are aligned with brand messaging and delivered through the most effective channels. Systems and Data Management Take ownership of marketing systems, including content management platforms and their integration with CRM systems. Manage data integrity and usage, ensuring compliance and maximizing the effectiveness of marketing activities. Event Marketing Own the deployment of our event booking system to support the delivery of approximately 400 events annually. Coordinate marketing collateral and event-specific materials, ensuring timely delivery and brand consistency. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement Act as the central marketing resource for key business areas, including Simplybiz Mortgages, ensuring alignment on key messages and initiatives. Work closely with senior leaders to deliver strategic marketing projects and support Essential Skills and Experience Proven experience in marketing operations or a similar role with a strong understanding of marketing principles and practices. Demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams, with strong leadership and mentoring skills. Expertise in marketing systems and data management, including CRM and content platforms. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior leaders. A degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing. Minimum of two years’ experience managing operational delivery at a senior level. Desirable Attributes Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and optimize performance.
