SES Engineering Services are looking for a Senior Cost Planner to join our Northern team focusing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Senior Cost Planners will provide early Cost Estimating for the SES Engineering Services pipeline of work in line with RIBA planned stages of work or Office of Government Commerce (OGC) gateways etc. To ensure that pricing levels are realistic and meet the requirements for Pre-bid, tender period(s) and aligned through the Wates pre-construction process.
As our Senior Cost Planner you will be involved in:
1. Assisting in the profitability and turnover via the delivery of Regional Workload pipeline.
2. The full and accurate production of Cost Plans and Cost Advice covering high value and/or complex projects aligned with RIBA 0-4 Plan or Works stages.
3. Producing Cost Plans tailored to suit bid and/or project requirements e.g., cost modelling, elemental GIFA, functional unit pricing, elemental unit quants and rates, approximate quants and sector benchmarking.
