Construction Litigation NQ-6 - Birmingham
Fantastic opportunity for a construction solicitor to join this leading national practice who are named in 'The Times Best Law Firms 2023'.
Based in Birmingham and with hybrid working on offer, this is an exciting role to be part of the team working on high profile contentious construction disputes and advisory work.
You will be involved in advising on a wide range of construction dispute matters, ranging from traditional final account/loss and expense type claims, to significant defect issues and PFI/projects disputes. You will have the opportunity to work on high value, complex instructions including local authorities, NHS Trusts and housing associations. The wider relationships within the construction team will also expose you to working within the wider construction industry including developers, funders and contractors.
You will be able to demonstrate:
1. An aptitude for drafting and legal analysis
2. Keenness to work collaboratively with colleagues at junior and senior levels
3. The ability to build strong relationships with clients and intermediaries
4. Strong communication skills
5. A genuine interest in business development
To be considered you will have strong drafting, analysis, and communication skills. You will have demonstrated experience of working in a contentious construction team at a similar ranked practice. NQ's with a solid seat in commercial litigation with an interest in contract disputes are encouraged to apply.
