Then look to join Fleet Education Services - we're searching for a passionate Compliance Officer to help us nurture and grow our base of exceptional tutors.
About the role
As a Compliance Officer on our Recruitment Team, you will positively define the recruitment journey of the talented educators that apply to tutor with us. You will build lasting rapport with our tutors by initially interviewing passionate candidates, then acting as their main point of contact throughout their onboarding process as you review their relevant documentation.
Collaboration is core to our success; you will join a close-knit team under the guidance of a Tuition Manager to guarantee a consistent pool of tutors for your allocated region of the UK. Working alongside your fellow consultants, you will be regularly provided with prospective candidates to ensure a consistent pool of tutors in your region – no candidate sourcing will be required in your role.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively schedule and undertake video interviews with tutor candidates, progressing or rejecting applicants following their interview performance.
* Successfully manage the induction of applicants from interview, including a follow up briefing on roles and responsibilities and recording candidate completion of professional development courses.
* Outline expectations and support the onboarding journey, including document collection, identification checks, DBS application, in line with business safer recruitment guidelines and vetting checks.
* Develop a clear and detailed understanding of the products and services that Fleet Education Services provide to relay to prospective tutors.
* Regularly collaborate with your fellow consultants and Tuition Manager, providing effective feedback in relation to tutor candidates.
* Perform re-engagement checks on returning applicants in line with vetting processes and guidelines.
* Support the Vetting Team in managing the eligibility and vetting requirements of applicants to ensure they are suitable for work.
* Demonstrate confident use of the business ATS and external platforms.
* Monitor shared business phones/emails/voicemails and act as first response to tutor recruitment queries and communication.
Skills and experience
* A natural communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal with a drive to provide compelling support to prospective candidates.
* An engaging team worker with a collaborative mindset who thrives in a positive energy working environment.
* Exceptional organisation and administrative skills.
* A self-motivation to succeed, being detailed orientated with the ability to manage multiple candidates at varying stages of the recruitment process.
* Prior experience working in either recruitment compliance or the education sector is preferred, but not essential.
