NHS South Central and West (SCW) is seeking to recruit a highly motivated Finance Manager to support the Hampshire, Southampton, and Isle of Wight Contract Finance Team. We are looking for a full-time, permanent member of staff.
This role can be delivered in a flexible hybrid way with any travel, site visits or meetings arranged by agreement on a very occasional basis.
To provide professional expertise to support our customers in successfully managing their healthcare contracts.

Main duties of the job
1. Present highly complex information about contracts and services to a wide range of stakeholders in a formal setting.
2. Commit to working and engaging constructively with internal and external stakeholders on a range of contentious issues.
3. Nurture key relationships and maintain networks internally and externally.
4. Develop effective and proactive working relationships with a wide range of agencies including ICB Senior Management, Health Care Providers, and other CSU departments.
Working for our organisation
This post will be part of a team of 3; reporting to the Senior Finance Manager and line managing the Assistant Finance Manager. As part of the wider Contracting Team, the post holder will work with other Finance colleagues and other disciplines such as Contract Managers and Data Analysts.

Education
1. Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
2. Studying at CCAB /CIMA level
Knowledge & Experience
1. Experience in communications and stakeholder management
2. Demonstrated experience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments
3. Must be able to provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information, negotiate with senior stakeholders/customers on difficult and controversial issues, and present complex and sensitive information to large and influential groups/customers
