My client, a successful Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy is seeking a confident and talented Graduate Structural Engineer to join their growing team in Norfolk. My client is a well-established practice known for delivering high-quality design solutions and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities for this Graduate Civil / Structural Engineer:
Assist with structural engineering design and analysis, using both manual calculations and structural engineering software.
Gain experience in the design of steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
Prepare project design summary drawings and specifications, with experience in AutoCAD software (3D modelling experience is a plus).
Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
Collaborate with senior engineers on various civil and structural projects.
Support the development of roads and drainage designs (if applicable).The Requirements for this Graduate Structural Engineer role include:
A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (MEng, BEng, BSc, or equivalent).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ideally a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in structural engineering design within a consulting engineering environment.
Proficiency in structural design, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
Experience with AutoCAD and the ability to produce design drawings (3D modelling is advantageous).
Strong desire for career development and progression towards professional membership with the ICE or IStructE.
Roads and drainage design experience is a bonus.
A full UK driving licence and your own transport are required.Salary & Benefits:
Salary: Competitive (Depending on experience).
Full-time Position:5 hours per week (with flexible working options available), potential for remote working based on experience and trust
Holidays: 25 days annually, plus UK bank holidays (additional holiday accrual based on time served, up to a maximum of 30 days per year)
