We are looking for a Part-time/Full-time (hours negotiable) dental nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. We are a very busy private practice offering a range of dental and cosmetic treatments. No NHS contract. We are a small, dynamic team of professionals who enjoy providing patient-focused care.
For the right candidate, this position provides an opportunity to further develop dental nursing skills and to learn dental reception.
Nursing duties: Looking after a busy, modern surgery, decon room duties, and providing support to clinicians (dentist, hygienists, therapist) and patients. Registered nurse preferred, but we are happy to offer this position to a trainee (only already enrolled in the training program and closer to completion) who possesses the right attributes and shows a solid work ethic.
We are looking exclusively for a hard-working colleague with good interpersonal skills, team spirit, dedication to your profession and patient care, who wishes to become part of a committed team and stay with us for the long term.
Reception duties: The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and possess excellent communication skills, both telephone and face to face. This front-of-the-house job requires the candidate to be competent in dealing with patient enquiries and follow-up queries; the candidate must also be calm, organised, and trustworthy. We use a computer-based diary system; IT competence is vital, and knowledge of Microsoft packages is essential. We fully support further training and development and operate as a friendly, relaxed small team that welcomes and supports new members.
