Job Description
* Lead and manage a cross-functional, multidisciplinary team which includes game producers, programmers, artists, and QA testers.
* Oversee the day-to-day design and development of casino games, overseeing the entire production cycle from pre-production to QA testing and release.
* Provide excellent leadership, ensuring the team is aligned with company goals and delivering high-quality games on schedule.
* Contribute valuable insights into the creative aspects of game development, leveraging a solid understanding of game design principles for overall project innovation and excellence
* Work closely with the Director of In-House Content to design, drive and deliver the content strategy for CR Games.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to expand CR Games into new markets, increasing reach and potential.
* Foster a collaborative culture that encourages continuous improvement, empowering managers with clarity on roles and functions to prioritise great game design and superior development processes
* Establish and achieve measurable goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for game development projects, assessing success based on factors like release timelines, player engagement metrics, and market expansion targets.
* Create and maintain a strong team dynamic, ensuring a positive and productive working environment.
* Implement and maintain robust QA practices and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free games that meet regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
* Encourage a culture of innovation, creativity, experimentation and risk-taking to push the boundaries of gaming experiences
* Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and player preferences to drive continuous improvement and innovation in game development.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executives, marketing, and sales teams, to align game development strategies with business objectives.
* Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on project status, milestones, and potential risks
Key Skills:
* Proven track record of successful leadership in a similar role within the betting and gaming industry.
* Extensive experience overseeing the development of slot games or similar products.
* Hands-on experience in game design or a strong appreciation for game design principles, enhancing the overall creative input into the development process
* Strong understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and player psychology.
* Familiarity with software development processes, including waterfall or similar methodologies
* Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
* Proven an understanding of global gaming markets, adapting strategies to regional preferences and navigating diverse regulatory landscapes.
* A forward-thinking mindset with a passion for staying at the forefront of industry trends and technological advancements.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Understanding of regulatory requirements within the betting and gaming industry.
