We're looking for a passionate and creative middleweight designer to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be able to show a strong portfolio of design work that demonstrates creativity, excellent problem solving abilities and a high level of execution and attention to detail. Pobl specialise is website and screen-based solutions, so experience in UI design and a good knowledge of the intricacies of designing for the web is a must. In general, a highly creative individual who can communicate well with the team and is genuinely excited about design.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the design, development and marketing team to create designs that align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
* Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
* Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs, maintaining the integrity of the visual and user experience.
* Participate in client meetings and presentations to articulate design concepts and gather feedback.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually enhance the quality of our work.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design systems and style guides.
* Manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design work.
Qualifications:
* Experience working in the design industry, preferably in a digital agency environment.
* Strong portfolio showcasing a range of web design projects and your ability to create engaging and user-centric designs.
* Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design preferred but not necessary
* Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign), as well as Figma.
* Solid understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take constructive feedback.
* Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to work and a passion for continuous learning.
Desirable skills, but by no means necessary:
* Welsh language, at whatever level.
* Coding skills, at whatever level.
