Modern Edge Recruitment are currently looking for Maintenance Engineer Ensure that all plant equipment and machinery is kept in good working order. Carry out all planned preventative maintenance as requested. Prioritise and carry out emergency breakdown maintenance. Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic faults. To carry out TPM requirements as necessary. Complete all relevant paperwork associated with the task you are performing in a timely and accurate manner. Report any problems regarding equipment and machinery immediately to the Maintenance Manager or the designated deputy. Ensure that you are aware of all legal and Company standards and procedures with regards to Health & Safety and that you adhere to them at all times. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that promotes cooperation with colleagues. Actively take part in any training requested to enhance your role. Be prepared to work overtime as and when required. To carry out the required maintenance activities during the company shutdown periods. Qualifications: Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship. City and Guilds or equivalent. Worked in a CNC machine environment or similar. Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics and electrical fault finding. Experience in welding and general fabrication work. Experience in sand conveyors, shot blasts, fettling equipment desirable but not essential. Ability to read and work closely with drawings
