Organize and allocate daily work plans, including apprentices and multi-skilled technicians. Conduct team briefs, disseminate important updates, and instill a safety-first mindset. Oversee the Job Request System (SAP) to ensure timely and accurate task completion. Manage preventive maintenance schedules and ensure continuous improvement. Conduct root cause analyses for equipment failures and follow through with resolutions. Plan and execute projects and installations, supporting the commissioning of new equipment. Health & Safety Uphold and enforce the highest safety standards, ensuring compliance with Safe Operating Procedures, PPE regulations, and environmental policies. Foster a safety-conscious culture among team members. Resource Management Manage spare parts inventory and contractor work within budget targets. Use SAP to raise purchase requests and monitor costs effectively. Continuous Improvement Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process enhancements. Drive initiatives to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact. Measurable Outcomes Meet downtime KPIs. Maintain team attendance standards and completion of Return-to-Work (RTW) documentation. Adhere to departmental budgets and legal compliance requirements. Enforce safety standards to reduce accidents and improve workplace safety. Contribute to achieving energy reduction targets. Self-starting and motivated, applicants will also need to satisfy the following: Essential Criteria: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
