Salary: £28,840.00 per year
Primary Objective
* Upkeep and maintenance of all tooling-based assets in line with MJ Quinn business requirements.
* The repair, replacement, calibration, and testing of all MJ Quinn owned asset equipment to ensure safe and proper use.
* Maintain and update accurate maintenance and tracking records.
* Working to tight schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to the operations of the business.
* To adhere to and promote MJQ’s working culture, its reputation, and values.
Principle Accountabilities
* Ensure field-based operative’s assets are fully compliant with MJQ policy and legal legislation.
* Ensuring accurate up-to-date record keeping and reporting is completed.
* Ensure any defects are recorded and appropriate repairs are undertaken, or the equipment is replaced.
* Report any issues/concerns to Line manager.
* Enforce strict management of warranty cycles / calibration cycles.
* Conduct planned services, replacements, and calibrations to relevant equipment.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in mechanical, electrical testing and maintenance (Small plant, PAT etc).
* Auditing experience, particularly in safety aspects of tooling/assets.
* Experience in Warehouse management systems.
* Good problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent written communication skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to accurately keep records.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Excellent time management.
Assets
* Ensure all tooling and equipment is fit for purpose and in appropriate condition for the requirement.
* Ensure all tooling and equipment is recorded on the applicable systems and correctly assigned to the relevant user and/or work stream.
* Assist in the preparation and tracking of all high-value and serviceable items, including calibration, ensuring prompt action and minimising operational downtime.
* You will be required to travel, and you must hold a valid full clean Driving License.
* Exceptional communication skills to effectively work with team members and assist customers and suppliers with any potential queries they may have.
* PC literate.
