As a Product Manager for Acute Care & Sage UK&I, you will develop marketing plans and activities for specific products and lines to establish and enhance product positioning within the competitive landscape. You will develop business plans, oversee market research, monitor competitors, and identify customer needs. You will also establish pricing strategies, collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to develop or improve products.
This is an individual contributor role requiring professional judgment and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The role demands substantial applicable experience and a degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
What you will be doing:
1. Understand key competitors and their strengths/weaknesses
2. Understand customer groups and their purchasing motivations
3. Understand marketing channel strategies and implications
4. Track and report results/KPIs to leadership and sales
5. Develop key strategy documents: strategic plan, marketing plan, product launch plans
6. Support creation of Project Charters, CERs, and Business Case Financial Models
7. Understand competitive market dynamics
8. Understand customer values and perceptions
9. Articulate product value propositions
10. Create marketing strategies to strengthen customer relationships
11. Propose objectives for clinical evidence and evaluate studies
12. Align product/business goals with Stryker’s overall objectives
13. Synthesize market trends and recommend strategic focuses
14. Develop strategies, sales tools, and communication plans
15. Apply clinical and technical knowledge to educate and demonstrate value
16. Work with sales enablement to set training strategies
17. Manage obsolescence plans
18. Support pricing analysis
19. Communicate marketing outcomes to MarComm team
20. Set and develop goals for the product management team
21. Analyze customer satisfaction trends and incorporate insights into strategic planning
22. Provide insights to the marketing intelligence group
