The Opportunity Join Aggregate Industries as a Weighbridge Supervisor, where youll oversee the weighbridge operations and manage vehicular access for Aggregates, Asphalt, Concrete, and Block plants. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate transportation of materials, maintaining safety standards, and enhancing customer service. If youre detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is an excellent opportunity to lead a team and contribute to the efficiencyand success of our site operations. Produce accurate weighbridge tickets for all loads entering and leaving the site, ensuring correct recording of customer accounts, vehicle registrations, and materials. Enforce the use of appropriate PPE by all drivers and visitors, and ensure compliance with site rules. Manage credit stops by coordinating with the Quarry Manager or credit control department, and notify drivers when vehicles are overweight. Maintain the weighbridge equipment, ensuring it is balanced and functional, and report any issues promptly. Oversee the intake of controlled waste, ensuring compliance with the waste hierarchy for materials used in asphalt production. Lead a team in managing a 24-hour operating site, focusing on staff development and safety. Who You Are Youre an organised and proactive Weighbridge Supervisor with strong customer service skills and a commitment to safety and accuracy. Your ability to manage operations efficiently and work collaboratively makes you a key asset to the team. Proven track record in a supervisory role, ideally within the construction or logistics industry, with knowledge of weighbridge operations. Strong numeracy and IT literacy, with excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach. Flexible and pragmatic, with a commitment to developing team skills and ensuring smooth operation of the facility. Understanding of industry and product knowledge, with the ability to manage documentation and compliance with relevant legislation. Benefits ??
