Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing site investigations.
2. Groundwater and gas monitoring.
3. Soil and rock logging.
4. Communicating with clients.
5. Mentoring junior team members.
6. Factual and interpretive report writing.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this Geotechnical Engineer position, you should have a degree in a subject relevant to the position, for example, geology, earth sciences, environmental engineering, or geoscience. Experience in the geotechnical industry as an engineer or consultant is essential, as well as a Full UK Driving Licence, as travel to sites will be frequent. You must also have a full right to work in the UK and live commutable to Oxford. You should have good communication skills, an ability to work within a team, and be/working towards chartership.
