Celebrating our 18th birthday this year, we are an independent agency looking for a Head of SEO. We require someone to take control of the SEO strategy and manage our skilled Digital Acccount Managers.
While based in Waterlooville, our 4 Day Working Week combined with hybrid working makes for a flexible working week and healthy work-life balance, with 2 days required on site.
Ideally you will have strong SEO experience in an agency background in a similar role and are looking to join an agency where you will have the creative freedom and support you need to grow some of the agency’s most senior and exciting clients.
Head of SEO Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Head of SEO to lead and develop client strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of optimising websites for search engines, driving organic traffic growth and improving search engine rankings.
As the Head of SEO, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing our SEO strategy, managing a team of SEO professionals and collaborating with various departments to drive organic growth and deliver measurable results.
Developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic growth for a diverse range of clients
~● Leading a team of SEO specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance management
~● Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify growth opportunities
~● Monitor and report on SEO performance, providing actionable insights for continuous
~ Optimise on-page elements, including meta tags, content and internal linking, to enhance
~ Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content strategies
~● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, search engine algorithms and SEO best practices
~● Perform technical SEO audits and provide recommendations for website improvements
~● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or,
~● Proven experience as an SEO professional with a minimum of 4 years in a
~ Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google
~ Demonstrated experience in e-commerce, content optimiation and technical SEO
~● Strong communication and project management abilities
~● Ability to lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists
~● A passion for staying updated on SEO trends and best practices
