Job Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate a passion for providing children with positive experiences;
* Maintain a professional attitude and desire to deliver excellent childcare services;
* Exhibit excellent communication skills, including the ability to appropriately promote the positive behavior of children where necessary;
* Be energetic and enthusiastic;
* Possess a can-do attitude and a real focus on customer service;
* Be flexible to meet the business needs, required from 7am-9am and from 2:45pm – 6pm (term time only);
* Assist with planning, preparing, and delivering a variety of quality play opportunities;
* Consult with children and involve them in the planned activities;
* Set up play spaces with appropriate play cues, including moving furniture and play equipment;
* Support with the collection and delivery of children safely between school and the childcare setting;
* Provide refreshments, including hot and cold snacks to children while promoting their positive behavior and involvement;
* Ensure good hygiene, health, and safety standards are met;
* Administer first aid when necessary;
* Act as a designated key worker for a number of children, involving communication with parents and teachers about key children's needs and progress;
* Support with club administration when required;
* Respond to safeguarding concerns and report any and all concerns to your line manager;
* Undertake appropriate training and adhere to company policy and procedures.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Level 2 or 3 childcare/playwork relevant qualification;
* Paediatric First Aid;
* Safeguarding Children.
