Senior Achievement Support Assistant – Pearson Primary School Grade 6, Point 14 Full-time equivalent salary: £28,624 Actual starting salary: £21,693 32.5 hours per week. Equivalent of 195 days per year. Fixed Term until July 31st - term-time only + 5 days (Required as soon as possible) Pearson Primary School are seeking to appoint a hardworking, highly motivated and committed Senior Achievement Support Assistant on a fixed term basis. We are particularly interested in applications from candidates experienced at working in the Early Years. The successful candidate will be required to work within our small nursery classroom in the mornings, provide targeted interventions in the afternoon and be available to provide PPA cover in EYFS and KS1. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to expand their experience in a primary school and be part of dynamic and flexible team who put children first. The role will include: Supporting planning and curriculum adaptations in the nursery, alongside a teacher. Be the key worker for a group of nursery children in the mornings. Act as the Senior ASA in the EYFS, supporting the ‘live’ adaptations of all other practitioners. Work within the EYFS team to deliver intervention and direct teaching as required in the afternoons. Be available to provide necessary PPA cover in EYFS and KS1 in the afternoons. Applicants must: Hold at least a full and relevant Level 3 (NVQ level 3 equivalent) qualification to work within early years in accordance with Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC) qualification list.
