Job Title: Lead Software Engineer - Azure/.Net

Location: Alderley Park, South Manchester
Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

About the role
1. Leads the delivery of complex technical solutions within own area of technical expertise, managing own workload, and developers in the team.
2. Provides technical advice and guidance to other software developers, proactively and reactively.
3. Ensures that all code meets Group standards, guidelines, and quality gates for the given technology.
4. Ensures technical solutions are safely implemented in the production environment(s) without impact to internal or external customers.
5. Encourages close collaboration with other disciplines within the team and with other teams.
6. Shares knowledge and experiences related to own area of technical expertise at practice level.
About you
* Experience with Azure Cloud technologies is essential.
* Experience with .Net is essential.
* Enterprise experience, working across the full software development lifecycle.
* Deep technical knowledge of one or more programming languages.
* Excellent knowledge of design principles and patterns.
* Ability to manage own workload and allocate work to others.
* Growth mindset with leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
* Effective communicator at all levels in a collaborative manner.
* Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle and agile practices.
