About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven UK New Business Sales Account Manager for a leading software company based in Peterborough.
Our client offers a friendly, collaborative working environment with a team-based commission structure. The OTE for this position is £40k, and due to the nature of the commission system, you will start earning from day one.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive sales revenue within an assigned territory to meet or exceed targets.
* Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing new sales opportunities.
* Respond to sales inquiries promptly and professionally.
* Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
* Conduct product demonstrations via webinars or face-to-face meetings.
* Create and issue price quotations.
* Document all sales communications in the company’s CRM system.
* Collaborate with the Pre-Sales team to support prospects throughout the sales cycle.
* Occasionally visit customers and represent the company at trade shows.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in account management, sales, or a related field, preferably within the software or technology sector.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong IT competence with a desire to develop technical skills.
* Confident communicator, able to build rapport in a B2B environment.
* Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
