Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Compliance Manager to join our passionate and driven team based at our client’s site in Ipswich. Reporting to the Head of Procurement Transformation, the Procurement Compliance Manager will focus on compliance assurance, contract, and risk management within OCS UK & Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional
* Deliver improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency and value of the procurement function.
* Deliver solutions to improve quality and increase compliance within the supply chain.
* Lead on the development of a risk management framework.
* Develop effective governance and compliance processes and procedures to support procurement transformation.
* Ensure risk management is embedded into all procurement processes.
* Develop mechanisms to identify, analyse, prioritise, mitigate and record risks.
* Work closely with the Procurement and Fleet analyst to create clear presentations of risk and compliance data.
* Support change management initiatives to ensure the successful adoption of new processes across OCS.
* Be the conduit between OCS and its chosen partner for SafeContractor Accreditation.
* Establish the legitimacy of new vendors and ensure compliance with all policy, legal and regulatory requirements.
* Create, manage, and maintain an effective contract register and repository.
* Influence stakeholders to ensure the adoption of procurement policy and procedures.
* Identify compliance issues that require addressing and report them to procurement SLT.
* Deliver process improvement to ensure OCS money is spent with approved suppliers.
* Provide seamless engagement with Finance to ensure timely payment to suppliers.
* Support the procurement team with the implementation of a Source to Contract system.
* Drive transformative solutions leading to procurement excellence and implement change management where appropriate.
* Support the implementation of a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework.
* Support the Procurement Leadership Team in driving the Group’s Reasonable, Ethical and Sustainable Procurement policy and ESG objectives.
* Comply with the CIPS Code of Conduct.
* Comply with ethical practices when sourcing goods or services for the UK and Ireland business.

About You:
* Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
Necessary
* Previous experience working in a procurement environment.
* Demonstrable Contract Management and Compliance Management skills.
* A clear understanding of how to assess, manage and mitigate risk.
* Experience developing or improving policies and processes.
* Some understanding of Supplier Relationship Management.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrable knowledge of supplier/customer performance measurement.
* Strong influencing and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to build sustainable and productive relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable
* Experience working in FM Procurement.
* CIPS qualification or working towards.
