As a Night Coordinator, working 40.25 hours a week, you will lead and manage the quality of nursing care for service users during night shifts, ensuring the service runs smoothly.
You will be a pivotal member of the operational management team and will be supporting the Nurses, Senior Nurses and clinical teams across Barnet Lane Clinic during the night shifts. You will lead, manage and coordinate clinical duties to ensure quality and safety is maintained.
As a senior member of the night shifts team, you will provide guidance, supervision and training to junior members of the team, this will see you support with online training, check observation levels, evaluate the quality of work and review the effectiveness of the team.

As a Night Coordinator you will be:
* Providing nursing leadership and support to nursing staff on night shifts across the service.
* Undertaking clinical supervision with night staff.
* Identifying any nighttime cost pressures with the budget responsibilities and take steps to minimise/eradicate their impact on the budget.
* Managing staff allocation, redeployments and daily numbers on the ward and additional use of premium rate staff to ensure budget is tightly controlled and effectively managed.
* Working closely with the on-site staff coordinator to ensure adequate staffing is considered and booked for the night and day teams.
* Providing statistics and reports as required by the Hospital Director/Deputy Hospital Director.
To be successful for this role you will need:
* Relevant experience as RMN/RNMH/RNLD.
* First level nurse with evidence of professional development, relevant skills and knowledge.
* Awareness of the wider Healthcare economy and political environment.
* Relevant Clinical Experience in a similar environment.
* Proven track record of leadership skills.

Barnet Lane Clinic is a 30-bed rehabilitation service for men and women with a mental illness including those diagnosed with a personality disorder. The service specialises in working with individuals who may have had placement breakdowns and need intensive review and support to help them move to more independent living.
