The ideal candidate will have relevant prior experience of configuration management or experience of other relevant ITIL practitioner roles: Release, Change, Problem etc, with specific exposure to one of Arqiva’s business areas. Will have knowledge of ITIL3/4 and understand the benefits of following this process for configuration management. Will have a strong technical aptitude and shows a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving. Good interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively and confidently with Business as well as Technology stakeholders using suitable modes of communication. Our commitment to a flexible and hybrid working culture Key Responsibilities: • To ensure that the CMDB is accurate and up-to-date in a timely manner so that people referring to it for decision-making are reaching well-informed outcomes. • This will be done by providing support with the data requirements to facilitate adds, removals and changes of data. • Proactively perform audits to identify errors within the CMDB and ensure these are rectified. • Ensure all data meets the standards as outlined in the Asset and Configuration Management policies and any other relevant Service Management policies. • Uphold and champion best practice in line with the agreed processes and policies. • Support and adhere to the Asset and Configuration processes, also work closely with change, capacity and release management as required. • Provide system admin type services and functions with the Service Management systems as required to support business needs. • Provide testing and IT liaison services as required to support the Service Management systems to support enhancement, upgrades or replacement projects. • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills with an understanding of consumers of data and business processes. • Virtual team management to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data. • Be responsible for processes used within the maintenance of data within the CSD service management system and regularly evaluate these processes and updated as and when required.
