About the Role
You will support nuclear projects at Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C, focusing on safety-critical software qualification, providing expert advice on control systems, and supporting software design and modifications. Opportunities for research and training initiatives are also available.

Responsibilities
* Design and develop safety-critical control and protection software adhering to industry standards.
* Qualify software-based equipment and perform assurance activities like code analysis and audits.
* Support software modifications and provide technical guidance on safety-related I&C systems.
* Engage in research projects and stakeholder communication, including regulators.
Candidate Profile
* Experience in software specification, design, verification, and validation, especially for high integrity safety-related software.
* Knowledge of software development lifecycle, safety testing, and analysis tools.
* Understanding of complex logic devices, legacy systems, and software failure modes.
* Degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or science; experience in the nuclear sector is not mandatory but advantageous.
