As the Digital Marketing Manager you will be a strategic thinker responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies across multiple channels (e.g. social media, SEO, paid advertising) to achieve business goals. It's crucial to analyse data to optimise campaigns, leading a team of digital marketers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive awareness, engagement, and conversions, while staying updated on industry trends and best practices. This is a hybrid role based in our Swindon office, with 2 days a week required in the office. Your responsibilities will include: Spearheading the digital marketing strategy, including organic content, paid search, SEO, and marketing automation aligned with business objectives to influence growth and efficiency. Set clear KPIs and measure campaign performance against targets. Oversee market research and competitor analysis to understand our target audience and market trends to identify opportunities and inform strategy. Ensure quality, compliance and regulatory standards are met at all times with content creation. Plan, develop and execute compelling content strategies to attract and engage target audiences. Maintain our brand presence by working across marketing campaigns. Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality content across multiple channels including blog posts, website copy and social media. Oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels including social media, SEO, PPC, content marketing, and display advertising. Manage campaign budgets and allocate resources effectively. Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and make necessary adjustments to optimise results. Identify trends and insights and optimise spend and performance based on insights. Develop, implement and oversee long term digital marketing programmes and short-term advertising tactics. People centric leadership - leading and mentoring a team of digital marketers, assigning tasks and providing guidance to create a high-performance environment dedicated to continuous improvement. Inspiring vision and shows empowerment to innovate and perform at their best. Equip the team with the skills to adapt and respond to change. Be empathetic to understand colleague needs and acknowledge each other’s perspectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, development, sales) to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives. Advocate and promote digital marketing adoption with firms and advisers. Drive cultural change through engagement and continuous improvement activities based on customer and colleague feedback. Take Marketing project lead / SME responsibility on key digital communications infrastructure projects. Utilise analytics tools to track campaign performance, identify trends, and extract actionable insights. Insight led creation of content with close performance measurement and tactical improvements. Generate comprehensive reports on key metrics to communicate campaign successes and areas for improvement to senior management. The use of predictive analytics to predict future trends and customer behaviours. Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating and embracing new trends and technologies, generating ideas to enhance digital communication practices. Proficient in using digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media dashboards, CMS systems). What will you need to succeed? Proven track record of devising and executing multichannel campaigns and marketing programmes within a financial services, legal or professional services environment. Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and best practices across SEO, SEM, social media and content marketing. Proven track record of effective content creation to meet objectives for proposition, and adviser recruitment. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. In-depth knowledge of marketing business communications and digital technologies. Ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve the highest standards. Proficiency in digital innovation, marketing automation tools and web design and build platforms. CIM or Digital Marketing qualifications preferred. Knowledge of digital channels to drive engagement and revenue, both organic and paid for.Resilient, proactive, and driven in a changing environment. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. The ability to manage resource / workflow and multiple tasks and priorities to deadlines, delegating as appropriate. Proven ability to lead, implement and drive initiatives, being an agent for change.
