As a facilitatingtraineryou will have an in-depth understanding of learning disability and autismand are likely to have training experience.

• Undertakesa supervisory role for expertwithlivedexperience co-trainers, ensuringappropriate support,leadershipand coaching in line with organisational expectations.
• Demonstrates the ability to co-deliver training sessions. The sessions will utilise a range of methods, including traditional training delivery, group discussions, and film.

• Regularlyteacheslarge groups – multi-professional, multi-agency.
• Employslearning interventions that arelearner centred.
• Ensuresallthelearning outcomes are fully achieved.
• Recognises andaddressesthe needs ofindividualsandthegroupprior to,during and after the session.
• Helpsto keep participants and staff safe and confident in their surroundings and actson safeguarding and health and safety concerns in line withorganisationpolicies.
• Appropriately challengespoor practice.
• Keeps up to date with current and emerging thinking inhealthandsocial care practice, learning disability andautism,laws of consent (UK),The Mental Capacity Act 2005, The Human Rights Act 1998, The Autism Act 2009, Do notattemptcardiovascular resuscitation case law(DNACPR),LeDeRand other associated data.
• Identifiestrends and issues, escalating and acting on these asappropriate.
• Attendsmeetings and training to develop relevant skills and knowledge and ensure consistent and high-quality delivery.
• Proactively reflects on own practice to improve performance.
• Carriesout a range of tasks to support monitoring and evaluation.
• Communicatescomplex information,verbally andinwriting.
