Who will you be working with?
Melett Ltd, a Wabtec Company (http://www.WabtecCorp.com), are recruiting an experienced Sales Consultant to join their team in Barnsley.
Melett, is a major global player in the automotive turbocharger aftermarket and part of the Wabtec Corporation Turbocharger Group. We pride ourselves on our product quality and service levels. We engineer, manufacture, and distribute turbochargers, along with the sub-assemblies, repair kits and individual components for turbochargers across the world to a range of businesses throughout the value chain.
Position: Sales Consultant
Salary: £Competitive
Location: S75 1HT, Barnsley (Onsite)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00am to 17:00pm (flexible)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays (plus 8 bank holidays)

How will you make a difference?
Drive sales revenues to achieve sales targets with defined small sized customer accounts and identify potential new customers.
What do we want to know about you?
* Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a competitive external technical sale role.
* Experience in planning and organising effective sales calls and visits.
* Experience of key account management, sustaining long-term relationships and developing strategic plans tailored to key clients.
* Demonstrable ability to develop existing and new client relationships through telephone/email communications and face to face meetings.
* Ability to speak a second language, is desirable.
What will your typical day look like?
* Proactively managing the customer profile, maintaining information about each business ensuring up to date, accurate information in the company CRM system.
* Proactively review and action customer product purchasing trends by utilising Jaspersoft to ensure business retention and growth. Using all available data tools including Jaspersoft and Marketing GA4.
* Proactively promote the comprehensive range of products and identify and quantify future product development opportunities as well as gathering competitor feedback.
* Identify new business opportunities with high revenue customers and record all of these activities in the company CRM system.
* Maintain regular proactive contact with assigned customers to maximise sales opportunity and revenue.
* Liaise with the new product development department to support identification of products, development, and support of product life cycle management.
