Teaching Personnel is looking for 2 energetic and sporty SEN Teaching Assistants to join a special school in Okehampton, supporting students with SEMH, Autism, and other learning needs. This role is ideal for active, enthusiastic individuals who can engage students through physical activities, sports, and interactive learning. You will help children develop social, emotional, and academic skills in both individual and small group settings.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience with SEMH, Autism, or other SEN (desirable but not essential).
* Energetic, creative, and hands-on approach to learning.
* Calm, empathetic, and able to manage challenging behaviours.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
* Passionate about supporting children’s development.
* Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
