Pinnacle Group is looking for a School Catering Co-Ordinator – Term Time Only to support the Catering Manager with our Leeds Schools Catering PFI Contract. You will be joining our Facilities Management Team based in Morley LS27 but also working onsite in our contracted primary schools. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the adminsitration side of the contract but also working onsite in the schools, covering shifts which can include cooking, food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and ensuring food safety standards are met This will be a Permanent Role of 20 hours per week working 4 hours per day Monday to Friday with the earliest start of 8.30am PLUS Overtime to cover any out-of-hours activites, school events and training days are required. Key responsibilities will include: To cover catering shifts in the kitchens :- provide healthy balanced school meals that is compliant with School Foods Standards Serve all food & drinks to the highest standard using the correct tools and presentation techniques. Ensure that merchandising at service counters and dining areas has products correctly labelled and in date. Able to delegate and supervise a team of catering assistants in the provision of the daily school meal service. To support with staff training and monitor new staff inductions and the completion of all annual toolbox talks Key requirements: Catering experience is essential with Level 2 Food Safety and knowledge of Basic Food Hygiene, Natashas Law, Health & Safety and C.O.S.H.H. compliance. Car owner & driver is essential mileage paid You must be flexible and able to work in a multi-service team and develop relationships with school Headteacher & catering staff when working on site.
