You’ll be working for one of the market leaders Duties & Responsibilities: Dealing with multiple drivers Communicating with ports Booking delivery slots for entry in ports Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times Chasing drivers for etas and making sure they are on time Rerouting jobs as and when is needed Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system Speaking to customers on possible delays advising et We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following: Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal Must be happy to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern Excellent UK geographical knowledge Can work on own initiative Quick and efficient problem solving skills Organised at all times Flexibility to meet the demands of the business The Company Maritime Transport Ltd. is one of the largest, privately-owned intermodal transport operators in the UK.
