Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for delivering and leading highly specialist clinical care to their own caseload. In doing so, they will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient-centered programmes of care ensuring that they practice within their sphere of competence and knowledge. The post holder will work to professional and regulatory body codes, standards and guidance at all times ensuring that their practice is grounded in evidence-based theoretical and practical knowledge. The postholder will support the operational delivery of the service. They will be responsible for developing new and innovative clinical practices responding to emerging knowledge and techniques and working with other services where appropriate to make improvements.
Provide clinical supervision, consultation and advice to Team members and assist the Clinical Lead with operational duties and service development, including research and development activities.

Qualifications
Essential
* A professional mental health qualification and registration (RMN, OT, SW) OR an accredited, registered psychological therapist from Trust recognised psychological therapy body e.g. BABCP.
* Post Graduate clinical supervision CYP IAPT training/qualification OR a commitment to complete this training in service.
Desirable
* Post Graduate clinical supervision CYP IAPT training/qualification.
* Specialist post graduate training to master's level or equivalent in relevant field.
* A degree or qualification in supervision Teaching (clinical practice) qualification/certificate.
* A leadership and/or coaching qualification (or a commitment to completing within role). E.G- CYP IAPT Leadership course.
Experience
Essential
* Significant experience and knowledge of working with Children/Young People with mental health difficulties, including managing complex risk.
* Significant experience in relevant area of mental health practice.
Desirable
* Previous experience of working in an MHST OR early/preventative mental health services.
* Experience of working with education settings.
* Involvement in innovative clinical practice.
* Experience of systemic practice.
