About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Trial Assistant role that will work alongside the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHNT) Clinical Research Delivery Teams and supported by Imperial College London’s Cancer and Haematology Academic Research Team. The Cancer & Haematology Academic Research Team are a research support unit working across both Imperial College London and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and other affiliated NHS Trusts, delivering clinical trials of all phases.
This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody looking for a comprehensive introduction to the oncology clinical research industry.
What you would be doing
You will primarily oversee the coordination and delivery of a cancer surveillance research study, in close collaboration with the ICHNT Hepatology team as well as the Chief and Principal Investigator. In addition, you will support the ICHNT Oncology Research Delivery teams with a portfolio of other hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and neuroendocrine tumour (NET) Phase I-III clinical trials. This support will include ensuring high-quality and accurate research data is collected and entered onto electronic case report forms (eCRFs) maintaining up-to-date Investigator Site Files (ISFs) and ensuring the trials are conducted to the highest scientific, ethical and regulatory standards.
What we are looking for
We are seeking to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is keen to develop their experience in all aspects of clinical research delivery. You must hold A-Levels or equivalent experience. A flexible attitude is essential as you will be working on multiple projects simultaneously within the role.
Desirable experience includes:
* Experience working in a patient-facing role.
* Experience working in clinical research delivery/administration
* Working knowledge of the current EU Clinical Trials Directive, UK Clinical Trials regulations, Principles of GCP, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Research Governance Framework legislation.

Further information
This post is full time, fixed term for 12 months in the first instance. A DBS check will be required.
