Purchase Ledger Assistant Newark Fulltime 39 hr per week Permanent c£27k Our well-established Newark based client is seeking a new Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their finance team. Working as one of five, you will be responsible for managing the Purchase Ledger of the company and will work closely under the general direction of the Management Accountant. Process supplier invoices and payments using Sage 200 Assist in the preparation of the monthly BACS Payment runs. Reconcile Supplier Statements making sure ledgers are kept up to date. Monitoring of the purchase ledger email inbox. Answer Supplier queries via phone and email. Post handling and distribution. Liaise with relevant departments regarding invoice queries. Assist daily in any needs of the Company Accountant. Providing administrative support as needed to the department. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a similar role. An eye for detail and accuracy with figures and data entry.
