Job Title: Operations Maintenance Planning Specialist

Salary: £47,683
What you’ll be doing:
1. Working with the Fleet Planning Led to develop integrated short- and long-term Fleet Plans, to enable effective embodiment of Fleet Modification and Maintenance requirements for BAE Systems SDR.
2. Developing & owning a strategic fleet plan for the upcoming 10 Year Ejection Seat maintenance project Martin-Baker Johnstown Depot & Cherry Point FRCE.
3. Generating Tactical Fleet and Maintenance plans for BAE F-35 SDR maintenance in line with contractual and operational requirements for the global spares pool and Field service engineer locations and presentation of output to appropriate stakeholders.
4. Develop and maintain the associated work package(s), including the technical instructions, resource and materiel requirements for the individual maintenance activity. Ensure independent inspection and safety critical task requirements are documented and appropriately identified.
5. Develop and manage Contractor Field Team (CFT) work package(s) and plans, including the technical instructions, resource, and materiel requirements for the individual maintenance activity in both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
6. Report into the Pre-Input and Post-Output Review Meetings (PIRM & PORM) in order to optimise the maintenance schedule.
7. Work with the Maintenance team to develop integrated short and long-term plans for the embodiment of fleet modification and maintenance requirements.
Your skills and experience:
* Demonstrate a good understanding of Fleet Planning.
* Able to independently complete Maintenance Tasking & Verification activities, addressing both individual aircraft and fleet-wide issues.
* Demonstrable competency and authorisations within/across the Maintenance Tasking & Verification team.
* Demonstrable IT proficiency in particular MS Excel and custom toolsets specific to role.

The F35 sustainment team:
In this role purpose is to provide effective utilisation of subject matter knowledge and experience, support the delivery of Maintenance Tasking & Verification at strategic and tactical levels, to enable the maximisation of operational efficiency and minimisation of costs. As a member of a wider F35 sustainment Team this role will need to flexibility support other team members as required.
