Talented and experienced Estimator required Our client, an established specialist fit out, drywall & façade sub-contractor involved in drywall, ceilings, plastering, rendering, steel frames and external façade / cladding systems, are currently resourcing an opportunity for an experienced Estimator. The contractor is a forward-thinking company known for delivering cutting-edge projects across diverse sectors. The Estimator’s key Responsibilities will include: Tender Preparation: Preparing quantified tenders from specifications, drawings, and bills of quantities. This includes annotating computerized schedules and Bills of Quantities. Material Enquiries: Sending out material inquiries and analyzing supplier quotations. Client and Supplier Liaison: Communicating with clients and suppliers throughout the tender process. Tender Handover: Working with the site team to ensure a smooth handover and distribution of tender documents once projects are secured. Desired Skills & Experience: Technical Skills: Proficiency with Excel and experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BoQs) from specifications and drawings. Industry Experience: Previous experience tendering for drylining contracts or façade systems in a subcontracting environment. Tendering Knowledge: Ability to prepare and price tenders, including analyzing quotations and liaising with clients and suppliers. The Estimators key Attributes: Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. A good understanding of the subcontracting industry and the specific needs of fit-out, drywall, and façade systems.
