* We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused 3rd Line IT Support Consultant to join our growing team. Essential skills for this role include strong communication abilities, a customer service mindset, and proven troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment. You should have experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Windows Server, and Exchange. Knowledge of networking (including VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls, WatchGuard, Meraki, Ubiquiti, VOIP) is essential, as well as familiarity with security solutions (such as Sophos and Cisco Umbrella) and hardware support (including Dell, HP, and Lenovo). A full UK driving license is required. Bonus skills that would be advantageous include a degree in IT or a related field, four years in a similar role (preferably within a Managed Service Provider), MCSA, Azure, or Microsoft 365 certifications, ITIL Foundation, and experience with VMware vSphere, SAN, and iSCSI.
Responsibilities:
* In this dynamic role, you’ll deliver top-tier customer service at all times while providing expert on-site, remote, and phone support. You will manage and improve IT processes, infrastructure, and security, lead and implement major IT projects, and research, test, and evaluate emerging technologies. Additionally, you will act as an escalation point for 1st and 2nd line support, work with third-party vendors to resolve complex issues, keep our documentation sharp and up-to-date, and mentor and guide junior team members.
