Summary
Working with variety of industries you will learn new skills as a project engineer. Covering mechanical items, conveyors, augers through to access & architectural metalwork. Based in Wisbech, you will also be on sites, such as factory, power station, wastewater works/construction site. Working to ensure our projects are done to a high standard.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Liaise with contracts manager, project engineer or project manager to discuss the details of the project
* Read through any supplied drawings, complete material take offs produce fabrication packs
* Produce 2d drawings for laser cutting when required

Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
* 2 other subjects (grade A*-C/9-4)
* English, maths and science (grade A*-C/9-4)

Other requirements
A driving licence would be advantageous but not essential, however when at an appropriate stage in their training the candidate may be asked to travel to site for visits or to visit suppliers. Good punctuality is a must. Access at various sites can be by ladders, and high platforms. Some sites such as construction sites can have uneven ground.
