Account Implementation & Technical Oversight Analyst
This is a great job for someone who has strong knowledge in respect of all aspects of Operations and Front Office processes; demonstrating the technical knowledge and experience of generic operations systems and processes to intuitively understand the Aviva way.
A bit about the job:
The Oversight Analyst will be responsible for the overseeing the account implementation/transition service provided by our outsourced partner BNY and supporting the broader technical oversight team with oversight, governance and investigations tasks that occur on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Account implementation/transition oversight will include the facilitation of the efficient and transparent processes performed by outsourced partner BNY in the following activities for AI and AI clients:
• Portfolio Fund set up (including benchmarking, cash, derivatives and FX)
• Market openings for existing Funds
• Exchange Traded Derivatives – onboarding, offboarding and changes to accounts
• Fund mergers including Unit Transfers
• Name changes
• Monthly CASS reconciliation
• Custody change
• In-Species transfers
• Fund and Sub-Funds offboarding
• Market closures
Alongside this you will play a key role In managing all issues raised by BNYM, or other stakeholders, agreeing remediation plans and tracking to completion, whilst continuously improving and automating current business processes utilising MS Power Platform while assessing and mitigating risks.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. A good understanding of the Investment Management Industry and related custodial and pooled fund industries is required.
2. Investment Operations experience gained within an Asset Manager or Financial Services company.
3. Enthusiasm to gain knowledge across wider Oversight functions within the team
4. Knowledge of market processes advantageous
5. Project management experience essential
