The R2A - Administrator will be assisting in the operational a function of the unit by providing a comprehensive administration support to the R2A Team, whilst ensuring that all communications with our patients are carried out in a manner which endorses the Practice Plus Group patient centred care approach. This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday Weekly shift hours are varied; 07:30 to 15:30 Early 08:00 to 16:00 / 08:30 to 16:30 / 09:00 to 17:00, depending the need of service Main duties of the job As the R2A - Administrator in addition to you will be on hand to answer phone calls from patients, GP surgeries and other medical staff both internal and external. Youll be manging all aspects relating to booking of patient appointments, patient admissions and patient referral letters. Fundamentally youll be receiving calls and messages of which would need to be actioned immediate by yourself or distributed accordingly. Youll be downloading and collating pathology and radiology reports, ensuring all notes are maintained to set standards and checking medical files noting if patient pre-assessments and related scans are present. This will include scanning results and any other related documents into our electronic patient records system. You will be liaising closely with a very multidisciplinary team of medical professional and support staff. Youll be playing your part and in making sure the patients receive a high standard of care at all times to ensure a good patient experience, raising any patient concerns on to the relevant care professional assigned to that patient. About us R2A - Administrator will come from a very similar background carrying out effective administration tasks relating to patients or a large customer base. You will be an effective communicator at all levels both written and verbal and will have strong IT skills able to pick up new systems easily. Multi-tasking will be second nature to you as you will have examples of having had to juggle multiple tasks at the same time.
