CNC Woodworking Machine Operator / Workshop Assembly Operative
Location: Rural location – own transport required
Starting Salary: Circa £26,000 per annum (subject to experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays (pro-rata for mid-year starters)
Contract: Full-time (following successful 3-month probation)

We are looking for a hands-on and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn CNC machining and contribute to high-quality wood component production.
No previous CNC experience is required – we provide full training! However, some knowledge of CNC processes would be beneficial.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Operating, setting, and programming CNC machines to cut, shape, and finish wood components
2. Carrying out general workshop assembly tasks
3. Using hand and power tools confidently
4. Reading dimensioned drawings and working accurately to specifications
5. Ensuring the safe operation of all machinery and minimising material waste
6. Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
What We’re Looking For:
1. Physically fit – some lifting required
2. Good communicator with strong language and numerical skills
3. PC literate (full software training provided)
4. Able to work independently and as part of a small team
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
