We are currently seeking an experienced Internal Business Development Executive to join a reputable, family-run SME based in Isle of Sheppey. You will join a small and friendly team of dedicated individuals who operate within the events space.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct targeted sales calls daily to qualify prospect and book initial Teams Meetings
* Send relevant company information to clients
* Qualify and cleanse our database of leads
* Develop an understanding of the product range, how customers use it and how best to sell it
* Following up customer interactions on marketing emails and other media to ‘warm up’ leads.
* Maintaining an adequate lead bank and pipeline of warm leads, and using this to deliver the highest-quality leads at required volume.
* Record accurate and detailed summary of virtual meetings and phone calls, including all actions, on company CRM
* Conduct market research and report on any upcoming events, establish the contact and make progress in winning the business
* Quoting clients and following up the quotes
* Ensure the database is cleansed and up to date with correct information
Requirements
* Prior experience in business development or sales, preferably in a B2B environment
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong negotiation and presentation skills
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
* Self-motivated and driven to succeed
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
