Waste Consultant / Engineer - EIA and Approvals

As part of our growth, we are seeking a Waste Consultant / Engineer - EIA and Approvals to join the Waste Management team. This is a permanent, full-time role.
The position duties include, but are not limited to:
* Approvals and impact assessment;
* Audit and compliance;
* Monitoring and management strategy;
* Knowledge of waste management infrastructure design, construction, operations, closure, and rehabilitation.
About you:
* Demonstrated experience in dealing with project approvals under Part IV and Part V of the Environmental Protection Act 1986, Environmental Impact Assessments, auditing, and the development of management plans is preferable;
* Credibility, a strong reputation, and track record with clients preferably on mining, energy, infrastructure, waste, renewables, or industrial projects will be considered;
* Experience in working within a consultancy will be considered favourably;
* Strong technical capacity;
* Strong understanding of the legal framework in WA associated with environmental approvals and impact assessment;
* Strong relationships with key Government stakeholders;
* Experience in coordinating/completing complex technical assessments, records, and written reports;
* Ability to manage and maintain key client relationships;
* Excellent oral and written skills.
