Job Title: Fuel Systems Engineer
Location: Wolverhampton
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum, overtime, annual bonus, and company van.
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 Hours Per Week (Flexible working required to meet business’s needs)
What you’ll do:
Responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and calibration of cutting-edge electronic fuel management systems, fuel pumps, and associated equipment at customer sites nationwide.
* Installation & Maintenance: Installing, servicing, maintaining, calibrating, and upgrading fuel management systems, fuel pumps, and associated equipment at customer sites.
* Customer Support: Providing technical advice to customers and distributors, ensuring exceptional service both face-to-face and over the phone.
* Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of installations, service visits, work undertaken, and parts/stock used.
* Site Surveys & Manufacturing Support: Conducting site surveys as required and assisting in the manufacturing of fuel management systems, fuel pumps, and associated equipment.
* Coordination: Collaborate with third-party companies to implement ad-hoc projects as requested by the Head of FM Service.
What You Bring:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in a similar role or industry would be advantageous.
* Adaptability: Ability to work in a busy, demanding environment with a willingness to learn and apply relevant electrical, mechanical, and technical principles.
* Physical Readiness: Capable of managing the physical demands of the role, including extensive travel and occasional overnight stays.
* Flexibility: Available for overtime and flexible hours as needed to meet client demands.
* Level 3 NVQ in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (or equivalent).
* Clean Driving License with the ability and willingness to work across multiple sites and occasionally stay overnight.
